Crafting the infinite landscape of the human eye
What began in our Central Coast studio as an obsession with optical physics evolved into an intimate fine-art portrait discipline. Every human iris contains a bespoke topography of crypts, furrows, and radiant collarettes—an unrepeatable celestial landscape held within a single glance.
Founded by artist James Carter alongside lead photographer Sophia Lee, iSight merges clinical-grade ophthalmic macro optics with museum-grade digital image finishing. We hold space for you to discover your own hidden pigments, rendering what is normally fleeting into permanent, gallery-grade artwork.

Macro optics meet fine-art pigment calibration
Every session takes place in our dedicated Central Coast darkroom studio. You sit at a custom-engineered ophthalmic stabilization chin rest, crafted to keep your eyes relaxed and completely steady while our specialised macro lens array captures your iris in absolute comfort.
We illuminate the eye with a diffuse, cross-polarised light ring that eliminates harsh reflections. Each fine filament, crypt, and amber collarette is mapped with faithful colour accuracy before the final image is hand-proofed and delivered as a high-resolution digital file.
